Dr. Adam Glassman is a magna cum laude graduate of Life University School of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland at College Park, where he was a recipient of a Presidential Scholarship.
Currently, Dr. Glassman is the President for the Nassau District of the New York Chiropractic Council. He is an active member of the community and many networking groups, which include the NY Islanders Business Club, Business Networking International, the Great Neck Chamber of Commerce and more. Dr. Glassman continues to stay current on the latest research and technology by regularly attending seminars on all aspects of Chiropractic.
Dr. Glassman is becoming one of a handful of Chiropractors in New York with a special certification to work specifically with Pregnant and Pediatric patients. Dr. Glassman is certified in the Webster Technique which is a specialized technique to reduce intrauterine constraint and help in the alignment of the pelvis, specifically performed on pregnant patients. He has been invited by local businesses to perform wellness workshops on myriad topics including: “Five Steps to Feeling Younger and Healthier”, "Backpack Safety and Scoliosis", “Stay Fit While You Sit”, “Stress Management”, and “Common Neck and Shoulder Problems”. Some of these businesses include Northrop Gruman, Great Neck Park District, New York Health and Racquet Club, Equinox Health Clubs. In addition to conducting these wellness workshops, Dr. Glassman can also provides wellness services onsite at your company.
As an instructor for Irene Gold Associates, Dr. Glassman has helped prepare hundreds of chiropractic students for their National Board Exams by teaching review courses for Irene Gold.
Previously, Dr. Glassman has practiced Chiropractic in the Bronx and Glen Cove and has participated in several public health awareness events, such as Backpack Safety Month and H.O.P.E (Help Other People Eat) Day. Dr. Glassman resides in Great Neck with his wife Sarah, a licensed and certified school social worker.
